The spaces we live in influence our mood, our energy and the memories we create. They should reflect who we are and support how we live. At Floor It, we’re looking for a Kitchen Designer who can bring that care and consideration to every project.

What you’ll do

​

• Understand each client’s needs: Conduct consultations to establish the project requirements, preferences and practical considerations.

• Develop and present designs: Create layouts, 3D concepts, technical drawings and presentations that reflect the client’s brief and project specifications.

• Prepare estimates and documentation: Produce accurate material estimates and maintain clear drawings, specifications and project records.

• Identify challenges early: Flag potential design or installation issues before work begins and help develop practical solutions.

• Support projects through completion: Track your deliverables, communicate progress and help the team meet agreed timelines, quality standards and client expectations.

What you’ll bring

​

• A qualification in Architecture, Architectural Design, Interior Design, Drafting or a related field.

• Proficiency in relevant design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, Revit or an equivalent, with the ability to produce the required drawings and 3D designs.

• The ability to read and prepare architectural and technical drawings.

• Strong attention to detail, particularly in site measurements, drawings and material estimates.

• Fluent English and clear communication, presentation and client-service skills.

• Good planning and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

• A collaborative approach and willingness to conduct site visits and work with different teams.

• Previous experience in a design, architectural or project-based role.

• A valid driving licence.

• Measurements, drawings and material estimates are accurate and consistent, helping reduce avoidable errors and rework.

• Potential issues are identified early, with practical solutions discussed before they affect installation.

• Your contribution helps completed projects reflect the approved design and agreed quality standards.
